"Why did no one tell me about this?!?" The number of times I asked this question during my thru-hike was more then I thought it would have been. Know that might have been because I did ignore some of the advice that I read and got before but other things were not something I knew beforehand. As the hiking season is starting up I have been thinking about all the things I learned along my hike.
