On the Topic of Having to Keep Your Thru-Hiking Plans Quiet

I decided I was going to be a part of the class of 2019 last April. Started making plans began about eight months ago.
I printed out the Halfmile overview maps and spent a whole night looking at them over and over again.
I started reading everything I could get my hands on about the PCT online.
Set a bunch of reminders for November 14th. I was going to get that March 31st start date, damn it!
