On my 2015 Thru-hike of the pacific Crest Trail, I began to believe that we are like some rare creature that people have heard about through movies and books, but never really expect to meet in the wild. Upon finding one, the individual may be overwhelmed with excitement and curiosity. Questions abound, and no, I do not carry a gun for protection.
