Here is the WGC Dell Match Play Bracket 2017:
Players are grouped into 16 groups of four. Each player will play the other three in their bracket in group play. Following those three matches, the group winner will move on to single-elimination play in the round of 16 on Saturday.
The round-robin, group brackets were created to eliminate the television-ratings-busting situations where top players are eliminated on the first day. I actually like the format.
The 16 groups:
GROUP 1: Dustin Johnson (1), Jimmy Walker (18), Martin Kaymer (41), Webb Simpson (58)
GROUP 2: Rory McIlroy (2), Emiliano Grillo (26), Gary Woodland (33), Soren Kjeldsen (62)
