Follow Manufacturer’s Instructions
Always follow the manufacturer’s cleaning, care and handling instructions for window treatments. Check the tag for care instructions.
Do not apply water-based solutions to wood blinds. The water will warp and discolor the wood. Only use products specifically formulated for wood. Source: wikiHow
Install Window Film
Sunshine and dust are a pain in the pane to most curtains. Installing window film to block UV rays will help reduce fading while a gentle tug when closing your curtains will prevent dust from collecting. Source: Angieslist
Use Air
Window treatments can last a long time, looking beautiful for many years…as long as they are treated well. Many of our clients or their house cleaners wear jewelry and while cleaning their rings or bracelets and watches have harmed their window coverings in the past.
