Does your school have a mobile engagement strategy?  Are you connecting with students and providing timely support through their preferred devices?  If not, you probably should be.

As we heard at the recent Eduventures Summit in Boston – and as any parent or educator already knows – the rising generation of college learners have a unique relationship to their smartphones and tablets.  They’re always online, always available, and many of them, especially those born after the mid-nineties, may not even remember a time before our era of constant connectivity.  They simply assume that anything they’re looking for, from movies to music to the day’s news, will be available at a moment’s notice with a few taps on their screens.

That’s why Tutor.com is available anytime, anywhere, and from any internet-connected device, with or without an appointment.  We pride ourselves on serving students the moment they need help, and now, to make it even easier for our college and university students to connect with a subject-matter expert, we’re updating up our Tutor.com To Go™ mobile apps to allow access from Blackboard, Canvas, Desire2Learn and a variety of other popular learning management systems.

With Tutor.com To Go (available for both iOS and Android devices), students can connect with a tutor, share files from their Tutor.com locker, or even take a photo of their textbook or lecture-hall whiteboard to send directly to a subject-matter expert for immediate help.  Tutor.com to Go is completely free, so it can be a great way to start extending your student-support services to the mobile platforms your students use every day.
