Zion National Park resumed issuing permits for the top-down route of the popular Narrows hike on Sept. 29 following a brief suspension that was announced on Sept. 25th. The closure was the result of a decision made by a landowner to prohibit access to the portion of the trail that crosses private land.
The landowner posted No Trespassing signs on the portion of the Chamberlain Ranch Trailhead that intersects with access to the Narrows. According to National Parks Traveler, ...
