The restoration of Jones Mountain Cabin will result in its last set of temporary trail closures next week. Affected areas will be closed to hikers and backpackers as a team of mules carry supplies in and out of the remote area the cabin is located in. The cabin is one of the popular cabins the PATC rents out, although it has been closed since August 16 as repairs are being done to the structure for the first time since its initial restoration in 1969-71. ...
