After a pit stop in Monson, I was feeling re-energized and ready to take on the trail again. There was no doubt in my mind that this was where I needed to be. So, even though it was raining, I began my hike.
The second week presented many new challenges as I pushed into Southern Maine. The terrain was tougher and the summits higher, but the views at the top and the tiny communities scattered throughout the bottom made it all worth it. ...
