I am back on the Trail!
After a five-day delay because of Hurricane Florence, I was able to get back on Trail earlier this week. Section-hiking friends, Pathfinder and Poppins, have been hosting me all this week, allowing me to slackpack, sleep in a real bed, shower, and eat real food. I couldn’t be more grateful. Tomorrow is back to the real world of thruhiking: sleeping in shelters (or my tent), trail food, a shower every 5 days or so, ...
