When I tell people I’m off to California for 6 months to hike from Mexico to Canada, I invariably get one of two responses. Half the people come back with something like “Wow, I wish I could do that.” The others respond with “Why would you do that?”
I reply to the first group with “You can if you choose to”.
My response to the second group is typically one or more of the following:
Why not? ...
