Departure Date

July 3rd.
I was originally waiting until I got closer.  All I’d decided on was “early July”, however having a solid deadline is going to help me prep better.  So, on July 3rd 2017 my puppy and I will be starting our (first?) 2,000+ mile hike.
I’ll be able to put a tentative gear list up here soon.  My goal pack weight is 15lbs, that’s gonna take some work getting organized.  With the pack I have, ...
