Well, I’m back with a brief update. Nothing fancy as I’m rushing this in during a hostel stay.
It’s been cold. There’s been snow and ice and wind- anything you can imagine pairing with the word winter. However my quilt has been holding up really well and I haven’t frozen to death yet. So good news there.
I also got to stay at the famous overmountain shelter, which is a refurbished barn. I spent a cold night there but it didn’t stop me from appreciating the beauty of the location, ...
