SOBO Step I: Getting Through the 100-Mile Wilderness

The 100-Mile Wilderness is famous for being the longest stretch of the Appalachian Trail with no real access to a town. Just past the southern border of Baxter State Park (BSP), Abol Bridge marks the beginning of this remote section which travels south for—you guessed it—100 miles until the AT reaches Monson, Maine.
