A GREAT Day!  I got up early and felt good.  The humidity was stifling, but the morning uphills were manageable.
I thought I was hiking fast until Joiner flew past me.  WOW was he pushing it.

When I arrived at the Fontana Hilton at 1030,  he’d already been there an hour and he started 3 miles back on the trail.  ...
