This week’s edition of the Economist features a golf-themed cover. In it, a golfer — presumably Trump, is attempting to get out of a sand trap.
Our last President was similarly obsessed with the game, but people were for the most part willing to cut him a break. It’s a stressful job, after all. On the other hand, I have the sinking feeling it’s going to become an issue for Trump for the foreseeable future.
Golf should not be dragged into politics. It’s better than that.
