5 days out on the trail and my spirits are high! It’s been a wild ride and everything still feels so surreal. But a few noteworthy events happened to make me feel like I have been christened out here on the trail so far:
Springer Mountain
I summited springer mountain at 11 am on 3/11. Day hikers, section hikers, and thru hikers alike rejoiced at the sight of the first official blaze of the AT. So many emotions were coursing through me but I would say that optimism was the most prominent feeling I had. ...
